TUTORING is the BEST volunteer job at Staton!  Parents, teachers, and students agree: The Parent Tutoring Program (PTP) is a rewarding experience for all involved!!  Parent Volunteers are needed to tutor students on a weekly basis. 

 

Teaching experience is NOT necessary! You may choose to tutor a primary student (K-3) or an intermediate student (4-5) in language arts and/or math. If you are a new Staton Volunteer you must attend a Volunteer Orientation. These are offered on Wednesday mornings through the month of September. Once you have an assigned student, the respective teacher will provide specific instructions and materials for that student. 

 

Our teachers appreciate the one-on-one attention parent tutors give to individual students. If you are interested, and can commit to 30 minutes each week, please click to email Shannon if you are interested.. Grandparents interested in volunteering are also welcome!
