I am the assistant principal of Staton Elementary School. My name is Mr. Lewis (Trey) Layton. I have more than 15 years of teaching experience. I began my career in education in Wisconsin where I was born and lived 23 years. I have an extensive background in special education and prior to teaching I was an interpreter for the hearing impaired. Most of my teaching experience has been with elementary aged children and I have also taught at the middle school level. I have had many wonderful experiences in the field of education. I look forward to growing and learning with the community, faculty, and students at Staton Elementary School.
