Brian Davis, School Counselor

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Hello! My name is Brian Davis and I will be the counselor at Staton ES this year.

I am here to support students in the areas of academic achievement, personal and social growth, and career development. I will work with students individually, in small groups, and through classroom guidence lessons. During individual counseling students have the opportunity to express their feelings and concerns, while also exploring posssible solutions or coping strategies. Students may request to see me on their own or be referred by another staff member. Permission will be sought after their first visit if further guidence or support is needed. Small group counseling will be utilized when students are experiencing similar challenges or need help in imporoving life skills.

Parents know their childern best, so if you have any questions, comments or concerns related to your child that I may be able to help with, please contact me.

I am thrilled to announce that we are teaming up with the Josh Stevens Foundation this year to become a Be Kind school. I will be extremely involved with our Be Kind program and spreading the message of genuine kindness. More information will be coming soon about Be Kind and the Josh Stevens Foundation.

On a personal nore, I have been married to my wife Candice for eight years and we have two sons, Ryder and Levi. I enjoy most sports and love activities in the outdoors - camping, hiking fishing and snowboarding.

I am looking forward to being part of the Staton community and contributing to a positive educational and social experience for your child.

Thank you,

Brian Davis, School Counselor
